The Ladies 1st XI cemented their status as the most successful University side in the country with a dominating performace over Durham at the BUCS Championships in Sheffield. After some sly tactics from Durham failed to ban Birmingham supporters from the event some 70 odd staff, students and parents were in mind-blowing form to help the girls walk over their  northern opposition 3-1. This is the first Championship Gold the club has had in recent memory and is a fantastic achievement.

The Mens 2nd XI had their trophy final at 10am. The supporters braved the early start and trip up to Sheffield but could not help but see the boys suffer to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of back-to-back and 13 time champions Exeter. After semi-finals was deemed the final goal at the start of the season the boys did fantastically and put in a brave performance. However on the day they were eventually beaten by the mroe experience and better side.

The success of the season cannot be highlighted. The club is young, with many new faces gaining valuable experience throughout the year. We can only hope that the 2010/2011 BUCS season bring more silverware!
