   Birmingham started slowly with Loughborough looking good on the break. Brum went a goal down when Loughborough got behind the defence to open the scoring. Brum came back fighting with Elise scoring her first goal for the team.

   Brum started the second half well with MVP Lex making some penetrating runs but unfortunately they were unable to capitalise on their possession. With ten minutes left Brum switched off and Loughborough scored to take the lead. They made it three with a questionable goal in the with the last play of the game.
